Ponsel Android Layar 5 Inci sepertinya sudah mulai menjadi trend di tahun 2013 ini, apalagi kesuksesan Galaxy Note dan dnegan hadirnya sekuel terbarunya, Note II, tak sedikit vendor smartphone yang mengikuti langkah Samsung, salah satunya adalah Micromax, perusahaan ponsel dari India, baru-baru ini mengumumkan peluncuran ponsel quad-core pertama mereka yaitu A116 Canvas HD, penerus Micromax Canvas seri pertama. Phablet tersebut dibuat bekerja sama dengan Mediatek menggunakan chipset MT6589 yang berisi prosesor Cortex A7 quad-core 1.2 GHz, RAM 1GB, dan GPUPowerVR Series 5XT.
